My heart is confident in you, O God; my heart is confident.  No wonder I can sing your praises!”- Psalm 57:7

David had just arrived at the cave in Addulam where he was hiding from King Saul.  Saul was out to kill him; the One that had been anointed to be the next King of Israel was being chased down, pursued, and the current king wanted him killed – and so he hides.  When the Lord does not answer your request or show up to provide the desires you desire on your time frame, do you still proclaim like David did, “My heart is confident in you, O God!”

Never forget in the “in between” that the Lord has a plan for you and it will be fulfilled in His timing and through His way, but we must stay faithful along the journey.  Never lose your confidence in God, even when life seems to take a turn in a way you never expected!!!

David finished by saying this in Psalm 57, “Wake up, my heart!  Wake up, O lyre and harp!  I will wake the dawn with my song.  I will thank you, Lord, among all the people. I will sing your praises among the nations. For your unfailing love is as high as the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.”

Church, I am so thankful for where the Lord has us and how He has been with us through 2020.  We only have 7 Sundays left in 2020 and I pray the Lord moves every Sunday in a special way at Trinity!!  If you have not been able to be back in the room with us since March, we would love for you to join us at some point before this year comes to and end.  The 9:30am service has plenty of ample space in order to social distance, and as always please feel free to wear a mask if you so desire.

We have some HUGE events I don’t want you to miss and would ask that you invite at least one other couple or family to join you to be a part of each of these events with us.  Every Sunday is special and God is on the move, so each week think of one couple you can invite you to join you weekly to one of our service.

On December 6th we will have the very first Canadian County Christmas program.  This will be a special Christmas performance, of many to come in the future here at Trinity, with the Gospel story proclaimed through music and creative elements as we celebrate the Savior this holiday season.  This will be a great Sunday to invite someone to join us!  We will have 3 services available to attend on this Sunday;  9:30am, 11:00am and 6:00pm.

Then on December 13th will be our next BIG GIVE Sunday where we get the opportunity to further the vision of The Together We Journey.  Our goal for this Sunday is that the Lord would provide for our church $300,000 over and above our weekly budget giving in order to invest into our community through the Together We Journey.

On this day we will also have our Annual Budget Meeting where we will vote on the 2021 Annual Budget.  We are excited about all that the Lord is doing and for what is to come!!

On December 24th we will have our annual Trinity Christmas Eve Service which will be the perfect time to invite someone and bring your whole family with you to join us at one of our two services on Christmas Eve at either 4:00pm or 6:00pm.

Then January 3-12, 2021, we launch our 21 days of Prayer and Fasting time as a church to begin the new year.  This is a time we encourage you to give up something in your life and the time you would give to it, give it to the Lord and let’s start 2021 in prayer and fasting pursuing the Lord and all He has for us personally and corporately as a church body.  Ask the Lord for a mighty move of God to continue right here in Canadian County and our surrounding area.

We will end the 21 days of prayer and fasting with a Together We Worship Night on January 24th at 6pm.

Mark your calendars now for February 12-13th and make sure to sign up our Trinity Marriage Conference.  We are bringing in Dr. Ronnie Floyd and his wife Jeana, to invest in us as couples that weekend.  No matter how long you have been married or if you are single, this is a must attend event.  The event will happen Friday night and Saturday morning. Then as a special gift to those who attend the Marriage Conference: We are going to provide childcare at the church for those couples who attend the event on that Saturday night so that you can go out and have a Valentine’s Date Night together as a couple with childcare provided.
We conclude the conference in our Sunday morning services where Dr. Floyd will bring an amazing message at 9:30am and 11am for our church.  Even if you can’t attend the weekend or someone you know can’t then make sure to be here on that Sunday morning!!

I could list so much more that we can be praying for and all we have coming up!!  We are in very exciting days at Trinity and we want no one to miss out on anything we are doing.

As always, Jennifer and I are so thankful for each of you and if we can do anything for you please let me know.  Our family could not be more blessed to call Trinity our church family!!!
