Day 3

A Prayer of Repentance

“Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus.” – Acts 3:19-20

One of the most important disciplines in our spiritual development is
practicing the act of repentance in our time with the Lord. The act of repentance results in you taking action steps to change direction, doing a complete 180 from the way you might have been living. This practice is healthy in your spiritual development as you begin to break free from the weight of sin in your life. One of the greatest habits that a Christian can develop is daily humility before the Father. In asking God for forgiveness for specific sins in your life and asking Him to give you the strength and courage to repent & then move forward to take steps of action to live differently. Changed people live changed!!

3 Prayers to Pray Today:

Personal – Confess and change your mind about the sin in your life today. Look up scriptures that you need to memorize that will help equip your heart and mind to help you conquer that sin struggle in your life.

Church – Pray that Trinity Baptist Church will always live with a repentant spirit. Continue to pray for God’s anointing and favor on our church as we launch two services this coming Sunday, January 12th!

Canadian County – Ask the Lord that people in our community will recognize they are sinners in need of a Savior, repent of their sin and surrender their lives over to Jesus Christ.
