Day 21

A Prayer of Mission

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

– Matthew 28:16-20

As you pause today, reflect over these last 21 days. Take time to write down and reflect on all that you’ve experienced, prayers that He has answered, and all the ways you’ve experienced Him in a new and fresh way in your life. Praise the Lord for His sovereignty, for all that He has done, and all that He is doing in your. Pray that the Lord will keep us on mission for Him. Pray that we live out the Great Commandment that he has laid out for us; to love God & love people!! May we continue to live out His mission and His agenda, and not pursue our own. We’ve only scratched the surface over these last 21 days… this is just the beginning! Ask Him to continue to cultivate in your heart and your life a passion, a hunger and an unquenchable desire for Him, for His Word and for the things of God.

Prayers to Pray Today:

In keeping with our mission statement “Together We are a Reaching, Discipling, and Sending church impacting generations for Christ”….as we gather together tomorrow night for a night of celebration & worship, pray the Lord will corporately fall on us and refresh us in a special way and that those in our lives, our sphere of influence and our county will be impacted because of what God has done in each of our lives over these last 21 days of Prayer & Fasting!

See you all at church tomorrow!! Bring someone with you! It’s going to be a great day!

Day 20

A Prayer for Boldness

“And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.” – Acts 4:31

In Acts 4, Peter and John had just been arrested for preaching about Jesus, and the threat against Christian’s were becoming very real. However, upon their release, the believers gathered together and began to pray, asking God for boldness to proclaim the word of God. Today, pray that God would give us, His church, the boldness to be obedient to His commands and to boldly proclaim His Gospel in a world that is becoming increasingly resistant and intolerant to that message. Pray and ask that He would give you the passion and zeal to live bold and courageous in your faith today!

3 Prayers to Pray Today:

PersonalPray the Lord will give you a great boldness in 2020. Reflect on and think through how you can live with more boldness day to day to live out your faith.

ChurchPray that we as Trinity Baptist Church will always stand boldly on the Word of God and that we always preach the gospel with great boldness every week.

Canadian CountyPray that we see a boldness in our county through it’s leadership and the people of God rise up for the sake of gospel of Jesus Christ.

Day 19

A Prayer of Thanks for God’s Faithfulness

“Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever.”

– Psalms 136:1

The Psalmist remembers the stories of God’s people and how God had continually shown His faithful love toward them. This very thought causes him to write this great Psalm of thanksgiving in Psalm 136. Today as you pray, dwell on the story of scripture and how everything from creation, to His second coming displays God’s faithful love toward His people. Give thanks to God for His faithful love toward you today.

3 Prayers to Pray Today:

Personal – Recognize today how God has faithfully loved you. How his steadfast love endures.

Church – Pray that our church continues to experience the “steadfast love” of God daily!

Canadian CountyPray that the followers of Christ in Canadian County live out God’s “Steadfast Love” daily!!

Day 18

A Prayer of Praise

“Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise! Give thanks to Him; bless His name! For the LORD is good; His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations.” – Psalms 100:4-5

As we pray today and come into God’s presence, let’s not come with a long list of requests, but rather may we approach Him with thanksgiving and praise! Don’t think of all the things you need or that you don’t have yet; but instead, think of all that you have and all that God has done for you. Think of His steadfast love and how He has been faithful to generations past, present, and future. And thank Him for all of the ways He has worked and proved Himself Faithful in your life.

3 Prayers to Pray Today:

Personal – How has God been faithful and good to you already in 2020? Thank Him for that today!

ChurchHow has God used Trinity Baptist Church already in 2020 in your life? Thank Him for that today!

Canadian CountyWhy do you live in this county? What are you grateful for about this area? Thank the Lord for that today!

Day 17

A Prayer for Revival in the Church

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me”. – Psalms 51:10

All Christians need personal revival on a regular basis. It is so easy to get distracted from our mission of spreading the Gospel and impacting people in our sphere of influence. We often get “lackadaisical” in our Bible reading or our prayer lives and wind up waking up one day wondering how we got so far away from God. Beg God to revive your heart, your passion and purpose! Plead with Him to give you a renewed desire to consume His Word daily. Commit in your heart today that you will spend time reading God’s Word and praying every day, making a discipline to live this way in 2020. Remember revival does not happen in the church until it happens first in the hearts of those within the church.

3 Prayers to Pray Today:

PersonalAsk the Lord for revival to begin in your heart in 2020. Pray that the Lord will take you deeper in your walk with Him than you have ever gone this year!!

ChurchPray for revival! That as a result of the people of God, getting right with God, that we might see a move of God in our church every week that is unexplainable, due to all you can say is “It is God that is moving”.

May it be Lord Jesus!!

Canadian County – Pray that our county becomes a county full of believers because the believers in our county are living out a deep belief in the life-changing presence of Jesus in their life daily.

Day 16

A Prayer for Unity in the Church

“Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell together in unity!”

– Psalms 133:1

Nothing can destroy a body of believers faster than disunity. Satan wants nothing more than to steal, kill and destroy – John 10:10. He works continuously to spread disunity amongst churches because he knows that there’s nothing like the Church of Jesus Christ, especially when the Church is operating at a healthy and unified capacity. Pray for unity within the fellowship of Trinity Baptist Church! Pray for protection from the enemy to creep into the body in this way. Asking God for a hedge of protection against a divisive, negative spirit amongst our members.

Seek forgiveness if the Lord has revealed to you that you are spreading disunity in the body of Trinity. Pray that our church becomes known for the unity & love that we share together.

3 Prayers to Pray Today:

PersonalPray that you will always display unity within the body of Christ. Pray the Lord will always give you grace towards change, even if it is not what you might have done. Pray for the Lord to give you “the spirit of followship” to follow the Pastoral leadership of our church for the vision and direction He leads them to go.

Church – Pray that our Church will always be unified in it’s leadership and the spirit of the Church breaths unity and health. Pray for the leadership of the church that they will always stay responsible with the leadership that the Lord has entrusted to them.

Canadian County
Pray that our county is impacted by the unity of our church. Pray for all churches in our county that they come together with one mission…That mission being the Gospel of Jesus Christ!!

Day 15

A Prayer of Humility

“If My people who are called by My name humble themselves, and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and heal their land.” – 2 Chronicles 7:14

This verse gives us a glimpse into the character and faithfulness of God toward His people. Our church is seeking a fresh move of God
in our midst. Today, humble yourself, pray, seek the face of God in your prayers, and ask Him to move in a new and fresh way and ask Him to let Revival start in your heart through this 21-day prayer and fasting journey.

3 Prayers to Pray Today:

PersonalAsk the Lord to humble you today, and that the Lord will keep your personal agenda out of the way of God’s agenda for your life. Pray that He will revel to you the sin in your life, the humility for you to deal with that sin, and the courage to follow through to repent of that sin and submit to Him.

ChurchPray that we as a church body will lead and love with humility and repentance. Let not our sin ever get in the way of a mighty move of God.

Canadian CountyPray that through our repentance and humility the Lord will heal our land and that we would see a mighty move of God sweep through Canadian County in 2020! C’mon somebody!

Day 14

A Prayer of Thanksgiving

“Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, O my soul! I will praise the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.” – Psalms 146:1-2

Let us now praise the Lord for His power, not only in us, but also through us. No matter the valley you may be walking through, the hill you are trying to climb or the mountain top you are currently experiencing, PRAISE THE LORD!! Spend time in gratitude and thanksgiving for all He is in your life.

3 Prayers to Pray Today:

PersonalPause and reflect on your life to find the areas you are not “Praising the Lord” for and repent and begin today committed to thanking Him.   Remember you don’t learn from your experiences; but you learn by reflecting on your experiences. Reflect and praise no matter the storm knowing the Lord is with you!

ChurchThank the Lord today for all the valleys and mountaintops that our church has experience over the years. We believe the Lord has prepared our church for such a time as this and to that we are so thankful!

Canadian CountyMay those in our community find a way to always Praise the Lord no matter their circumstances.

Day 13

A Prayer for Missions

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

– Acts 1:8

How often do you consider the purpose of the Holy Spirit’s filling in your life? The Holy Spirit empowers us to be gospel witnesses locally, nationally, and globally. Could it be that while we’re waiting for the Holy Spirit to empower us to “go”, the Holy Spirit is waiting for us to take the first step of faith? Have you considered going on mission in the future, whether locally or internationally? Focus today on asking God not if, but where, he wants you to go.

3 Prayers to Pray Today:

Personal – Ask the Lord that every day, in all that you do, that you will live on mission as a Kingdom Influencer. Pray that in 2020 that the Lord will expand your mission and stretch you in your faith by sending you local, nationally and internationally on mission.

ChurchPray the Lord will expand our border as a church in 2020 and allow us to give and go to places all around the world with the gospel of Jesus. Let the mission of God be carried out through His Church!!

Canadian County
Pray daily that the Lord will give us a heart for mission right where we are, to reach the people right in “our backyard”. Pray for those hurting, those in need, and that the churches of Canadian County will be the hands and feet of Jesus by meeting the needs of Canadian County. Pray for Trinity to be used to be a large part in this.

Day 12

A Prayer for our President & Vice President

“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.” – 1 Timothy 2:1-2

It is often said, that the peaceful transition of power is something that sets the United States apart from other countries. Take a moment this morning and thank God for allowing you to live in the United States of America. Pray today for President Trump and Vice President Pence, for God’s protection, provision, wisdom and discernment over their lives, their families and their decision-making.

Pray for God’s wisdom for those in authority over you ‘so that you would be able to live a quiet, godly and dignified life in every way’.

3 Prayers to Pray Today:

PersonalNo matter your political party preference or stance, pray today that the Lord will give our President and Vice President great wisdom and direction. Let’s not pray against our presidents but for them and that they would be open to the Lord’s leading as they govern this great country.

Church – Pray that our Church will always show respect and honor while staying true to the convictions of the Word of God.

Canadian County
– Pray for our County officials as they try to uphold the law of the land based on where they want our county to go.
