April 27, 2020 Blog

Church, we are so thankful for you!!

The fortitude you have displayed through these unprecedented times has been nothing but Holy Spirit led!  I am so encouraged by the testimonies that many of you are sharing through this journey that your faith has been your foundation.

Jesus challenged us in Matthew 7:24-27 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice s like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

Well the rains came and are still coming, and the wind has blown and continues to blow hard, yet those with their foundation in Christ can and will stand firm.  It does not mean that there will not be fearful times, but it simply means we can put courage over fear and press on because our faith is stronger than our circumstances!   C’mon somebody! That’ll preach church!!!

I am writing this blog to give ample information and communicate clearly about THE COMEBACK: PHASE 1.  If you missed my sermon on 4.26.20 you can go back to our church website and watch it… that is where I explain in detail what will take place beginning next Sunday, May 3, 2020.

I only want to give you an update on what the next 2 weeks, Sunday, May 3rd and Sunday, May 10th, will look like as we move forward in THE COMEBACK!!

May 3rd and May 10th:

  • We will move to THREE Live Services in the Worship Center to help us be better effective with social distancing. Please make note and help us communicate these NEW SERVICE TIMES.

*NEW SERVICE TIMES BEGINNING MAY 3, 2020:

8:30am

10am

11:30am

  • We will not have any next generation programing for these first two Sunday’s back, that includes: Pre-School, Kids or Student Ministry.
  • We will request, per CDC and state guidelines, that those who come to one of these services wear a mask while walking through the lobby until you take your seat in the Worship Center and implement social distancing from those around you of 6ft.
  • We ask everyone who attends in the Worship Center to spread out, skip rows, & move towards the center of rows.
  • We will ask all families sit together per the social distancing recommendations & guidelines.
  • We will exit through the side, exterior doors of the Worship Center to access the parking lot at the conclusion of each service.
  • We will clean the Worship Center at the conclusion of each service before the doors will open for the next service to come in.
  • We will have our Parking Serve Team and First Impressions Serve Team there and in place to welcome people in a safe way.
  • We are asking all who are in the “vulnerable or at risk” category to please feel comfortable and stay home to stay safe over these first few weeks back. We don’t want anyone to feel any peer-pressure to return these first two weeks. Take as long as you feel that you need for you and your family. Let’s support everyone’s decision that they make for themselves and stand by each other through this COMEBACK  Together We!!

May 3rd Sunday NIGHT – 6pm Parking Lot Prayer Service:

  • Jennifer and I will be leading a prayer service this Sunday night, May 3rd at 6pm that we ask all to come to, stay in your cars, and get ready to honk your horn. C’mon somebody!!!
  • This will only be about a 20 minute prayer service, so bring the whole family.
  • We will pass out freezer pops at the conclusion of the prayer service so you might want to bring some napkins or paper towels.
  • If you do not make it to the prayer gathering you are still welcome to come get freezer pops around 6:30pm.

Our Trinity “E-Family”:

  • We will continue to run all services online live and will be engaging with you just like we have been doing over this last month or so.
  • If you are planning to attend in the Worship Center live, we still would love for you to go and share the services on YouTube or Facebook as well and let’s keep spreading the word through our Trinity E-Family online.

We need you:

WHAT SERVICE WILL YOU ATTEND?

Please go to this link now and fill out this short questionnaire to help us plan accordingly.

Church, I know all of this is different, and like I said this past Sunday – the key word for this new season will be FLEXIBILITY and POSITIVITY; but we do not want you to have to stay home any longer and the Staff and myself are so ready to put in the work that it will take to open the doors of our church back up beginning THIS SUNDAY!!  We have an amazing staff and they are working crazy hard to continue the mission of our church.  Together We are a Reaching, Discipling and Sending Church impacting generations for Christ.

We will press on through in the room and through our online experience in seeing this vision continue to come to life in our community being turned upside down in the name of Jesus!!!  Be praying for YOUR ONE, and who you need to invite to be a part of THE COMEBACK in the room or on our online campus.

Remember, that none of this season that we’ve been walking through has caught the Lord by surprise! He has an amazing plan for you, for our church, our for community and the world.  Let’s not miss it!!  The opportunity is here to us all to be stretched, to adapt, to grow and become stronger!!  Thank you church for being so amazing and for being more fearful of missed opportunity, than of change.  I 100% believe that the Lord is going to shine His favor on that passion that you are displaying!!  My family and I are so thankful just to be a part it all.

We love you dearly and again if there is anything we can do for you, please don’t hesitate to call.
