what is building bridges?
• building bridges that last forever is trinity’s stewardship campaign designed to raise funds for our relocation and building project. The main thrust of this project is not to build a building, but instead, to build a campus that will enhance our ability to build bridges to those who do not know Jesus. in 2003 when we made the decision to relocate our church, we had no idea what was in store. since that time we’ve experienced some of the most incredible days in our history. we’ve seen countless miracles happen as God has worked through situations and people. God’s fingerprints have been on this project from its beginning.
• this project has been truly a “one of a kind” opportunity and our Trinity family has responded in unprecedented ways by making tremendous sacrifices to help make our dream a reality. the future is bright and hopeful and we follow God into His perfect plan for us. If you would like to become part of the miracle God is working among us, we encourage you to read on and learn how you too can be part of the miracle.
how does it work?
• sacrifice is at the very core of the call of Christ. He expects us to learn to make sacrifices on every level. He demands that all we are, all we do, and all we have be fully committed to Him. His call requires a sacrifice from every one of us. In building bridges, we have an opportunity to make a sacrifice for a cause far greater than ourselves. It is an opportunity to be part of something that will produce fruit for generations to come.
• equal sacrifice; not equal giving is the primary philosophy of building bridges. the opportunity begins with understanding this simple statement. The challenge is for each of us to be willing to make a sacrifice. a sacrifice not for a building or for trinity, but a sacrifice for Jesus and the vision He has given our church. this vision involves doing everything within our power to reach this community for Christ. this new campus plays a large role in to assist us in fulfilling the vision.
• you can become a part of building bridges by prayerfully making a financial commitment; a commitment that is in addition to your regular tithing. This commitment can be stretched out over a period of twelve months. The beauty of this approach is that even though few of us can give a large, one-time offering, all of us can give a significant gift if we can spread it out over a long period of time.
• In the end, it’s not the size of the gift, but the intent of our heart that counts. no gift is too small as long as it is given in obedience. the important thing is that all of us do our very best. together we can do far more than we ever dreamed possible.
